Equipping the Called

Mission-field preparation for real life.

Some people know they are called to go. But being called and being practically prepared are not the same thing.

MamaLita is developing a practical preparation experience for missionaries and evangelists who want to serve in the field.

This is not a Bible school and it is not theological training.
It is about the everyday realities of going.

What do you do when real life happens?

How do you adapt when plans fail? How do you live simply? How do you work across cultures with humility? How do you recognise a genuine need? How do you help without taking over? How do you remain emotionally, spiritually and practically resilient? How do you serve people in a way that empowers them rather than creating dependency?

The vision

The proposed model is approximately one month of intensive practical preparation on a farm, including hands-on daily living and survival skills, followed by approximately one month of real outreach in a country such as Zambia or Malawi.

Participants will learn not only how to go, but how to live, listen, adapt, serve and work alongside local people.

Music and creativity

Music is part of MamaLita’s DNA.

Because Julita comes from the music and live-events world, MamaLita also wants to use music and creativity as tools for teaching, worship, encouragement and outreach with children, teenagers and adults.
