MamaLita’s work is best understood through the people we walk with.
These stories are proof that hope becomes practical when people take hands.
Julita has years of photographs, testimonies and stories from the road — from schools and farms to border posts, churches, family gatherings, villages and unexpected encounters. Many of these stories are what she calls her adventures with God. Some are also told in her book, My Lifesong.

1. Oscar — Zambia
Oscar’s Story — One Question Changed Everything
One question in Livingstone — “What is your dream?” — became the beginning of a school, clean water and a growing path towards local independence.
Oscar began the Ipee Hope School for Orphans in 2023 with around 50 children and one teacher. Today the school has two teachers, has taught around 150 children to read and write, provides a daily meal and has clean water through a borehole completed in December 2025.
The next major step is a permanent brick school building, proper toilets and a small kitchen. At the same time, Julita is helping Oscar work towards establishing his own NGO so that the work can increasingly stand on its own feet.
2. Namibia — Farming Families
Standing With the People Who Feed Us
Some of the people carrying the greatest responsibility are also among the most overlooked.
Julita works closely with farming families in Namibia who face enormous pressure, uncertainty and discouragement. These are people who help put food on our tables, yet many carry their struggles quietly.
MamaLita holds weekly meetings with farming communities, and Julita spends about one month in Namibia twice each year. Each year she also gathers more than 150 families for a conference centered on hope, encouragement, community and spiritual strengthening.
The work is not a once-off event. It is relationship: listening, praying, encouraging, reminding people that they are not alone and, where possible, helping work towards practical answers.
Farmers help carry communities. MamaLita wants to walk with them when the pressure becomes too heavy to carry alone.
3. Malawi — Food Security & Multiplication
From Hunger to Harvest
When Julita first met a pastor in Malawi, his household was living in severe financial hardship. If they had food three days in a week, they considered themselves very blessed.
Julita visited his church several times to understand his situation. She began walking with him spiritually, teaching practical principles of God’s Kingdom and encouraging him.
Over time, Julita became convinced that his strongest calling was not to remain in pastoral ministry but to move into the marketplace.
About a year later, he gained access to land. Julita and Leo taught him how to plant maize and tomatoes, and MamaLita supported him practically as he began farming.
He handed leadership of his church to someone else and started building a life from the soil.
He is now in his third year of planting.
Today his farm feeds his household. He sells part of the harvest. He feeds other people in his village. And he keeps seed and produce back so that the next planting cycle can continue.
The impact has multiplied beyond farming. He now runs a feeding scheme and is known for his juvenile prison ministry.
This is what sustainable change can look like: not a handout that ends when the money ends, but a person strengthened to provide, serve others and keep multiplying what was placed in his hands.
4. Catherine — Education & Future Opportunity
Opportunity Should Multiply
Catherine is one of the young people MamaLita has been able to support through education. She has the ability and determination to learn, but opportunity is not always equally available.
For MamaLita, education support is never only about paying a fee and walking away. It is about walking with a young person, expecting commitment, celebrating progress and helping them build a future they can eventually carry themselves.
Catherine sends Julita her report cards so that the journey is shared, not anonymous. Her progress matters.
And there is one principle Julita asks of young people she helps: when the day comes that you are able, help somebody else.
That is the kind of impact MamaLita wants to multiply. One opportunity opens a future. One changed future can open another.

Zambia — School in Ipee
150 children can now read and write with 2 teachers teaching the kids.
Zambia — Fresh Water, Ipee
2500 lives changed by having access to water through a Borehole.
Zambia — Bicycle Youth Program, Livingston
10000+ kids reached in partnership with Impact Generation Global Movement.
Malawi — Farming, Lilongwe
More than 50 families are helped through the mielies and tomato faming.
Malawi — Women, Salima
200 women and many more children have been reached the past 2 years.
Uganda — Orphanage
Orphanage of 31 children are put through school and fed.
Namibia — Farmers
150 farmers are being looked after spiritually (mental health) and connected to seed donations.
South Africa — Community Boxing Club, Kleinmond
35 kids (8-16 years) from very poor families are supported, teaching them not only boxing skills, but life lessons and discipline.
South Africa — Elderly Couples
3 elderly couples with Dementia and other challenges are currently helped with providing domestic workers as to be able to stay in their own homes.
South Africa — Farmers
350+ farmers and their families are being supported spiritually with very difficult situations in South Africa currently.
Bibles Distributed
More than 10 000 bibles have already been distributed throughout Africa, not only in English, but the languages of the people.
University Students
2 kids are already at University; one in Zambia and one in Uganda.
Tanzania — Masai Community
Masai community outside Aruza is being supported for medical emergencies.
Global Speaking Engagements
Julita reaches more or less 10 000 people each year through speaking engagements all over the world.
